Hello all
so im looking at trying to grow some tomato in large pots on the terrace to give me something to do. I have looked on the internet and have sent for some "The Amateur" but i am also trying to get some "Oregon Spring" as these seems to be easy by Tarw

more heat. Tomatoes like a temperature about 70 in old money so the hot early summer did not suit them and seeds started off late are giving better plants. My greenhouse tomato's are growing really well. This morning Ive just potted on a side shoot by Greenwatch

liquid horse poo

Asparagus
buy from on supplier and the smallest pack of crowns they sell is 10. I live in a rental so most of my growing is done in containers... so I have two questions. Will asparagus grow in a container (I was thinking of a potato or tomato bag) and how much by ThePotsmith

Advice for a new veg grower
enormously. Celery is also notoriously difficult to grow.  If you're a first time grower, I'd start with something a bit more forgiving, maybe runner beans, potatoes, and cherry tomatoes in hanging baskets. I must admit finally found some celery plants by Nicholas Hollingshead

best cherry tomato?
can the forum please tell me the best cherry tomato ,in their opinion , it  will be grown in a greenhouse............ i think  a fave was mentioned in the march issue of G W  , cant find my copy tho.......... Gardeners delight is delicious. I grow by mark greenall

Veg growing inside
floor to ceiling windows and I am prepared to put some hours in to growing things. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! You could try tomatoes??-anything that would be suitable for greenhouse growing?-though even with a big window the light by Mattwestyorks

be good, but they are expensive. For growing tomatoes and salad crops one with clear sides to the ground is good and is usually cheaper.  I have a polycarbonate one as I have stony ground (limestone) with a paddock next door with horses. I thought it would by Pam san

Potatoes
