A Three-Petalled blue flower?
I've found an odd plant growing on my allotment, no idea what it is or where it came from, but it's definitely not a vegetable It's about 6" tall with strappy sort of leaves, not very bushy, and a lovely bright royal blue flower with three petals by Raven48

Shaded Border
some brighter summer colour along this fence.   I would like low growing stuff as it also borders a path.    I am quite fond of fuchsia, and wondered about the hardy dwarf shrubs.  Any advice and any ideas please would be welcome. Fuschia will do well by Novice23

Looking for flowers to 'fill in' a border
could grow from seed or buy small plants from the garden centre.  They should flower well into the autumn red or white astrantias? Tradescantia - likes shade, pretty colours. I am planting some in my own shady border sometime this spring by Chris 7

colour in a shady garden??
is planted and scattered the seed of yellow Corydalis which grows very well in shady areas. It's a wild plant and is rampant but is very effective and very colourful in problem areas. I have a shady bank under trees - apart from greenery (ferns, hostas etc by one girl and her dog(s)
