Daffodils and Tulips - what to do as they fade?
't remain empty and hoped they would grow through as the foilage grows back, any advice appreciated from seasoned bulb growers many thanks.   Yup, you've got it spot on. Deadhead the bulbs/ cut off any flowers for indoors. This prevents them setting seed by LeeSW1

problem daffodils?
damage.  Some of mine came up looking like a concertina, as if they had to struggle out of the ground - definitly cold damage - maybe this is too?  I know of tulip virus but have not come across one that attacks daffodils as well, tho' I guess by Aliesh

Minimum planter size for black bamboo
vigorous plant. They are greedy and thirsty too.It will grow in your container but bigger the better for me. I love trough planters so I would say give it a go and see how you get on... like everything else in pots we know we're going to have to deal by KatieC

with general fertiliser (777), which I am doing and its shape is ok, but the leaves still grey-silver. Below is a picture taken on Monday (with some tulips "remains" on the ground... oops). Last "detail": my location is Lancaster, and the spot is my front by nadiamaz

Wallflowers
Hi there, bit of a tall order this one I think! I watched a Gardeners World program where he showed us his display of pale yellow wallflowers mixed with white tulips, I would like to grow the same, any ideas on name of wallflowers! Here's hoping by John Reynolds
