What plant will grow under a willow tree
Hi I have a beautiful willow tree in my garden border. Suggestions please for ground cover plants to grow below the tree.The border is at the side of a beck and the soil type appears to be slightly clay. Many thanks. Is this a weeping willow by lottyh40

Is artist conk (fungus) dangerous
I have artist conk growh on my euclayptus tree stump.  They look quite pretty so I have allowed it to grow for 2 months now.  However, it seems to be starting to affect the honeysuckle plant that is growing around the stump. Will it eventually by hyatan

Hi got a number of buxus plants and thinking of this layout  What would you put in the centre a conifer was suggested but i felt maybe a standard rose or a weeping willow or maybe a cherry tree. or an acer griseum or a Tibetan cherry for its by blackest

stream banking
to plant to protect the stream banking? I know willow is good but i think the roots may grow into the drain and damage it. not sure what to plant by Aliesh

too scared to prune
with vibrant red/yellow/acid green stems which look fantastic in the clear winter sunshine  You're growing a twisted willow which is grown for its wonderful form.  If you've got room to let this grow big you can leave it - it will grow into a tree with twisted by Sinevegas

Advice on Weeping Willow, please
I just picked up a broken twiggy section of the large weeping willow in the village as I walked past. I am toying with the idea of growing/rooting it in a container (on concrete patio to prevent vigorous roots) as a pruned specimen, as I know by Pipstrelle

Trees, plants or shurbs to plant on Soakaway ?
a boggy spot in his garden so he built a pergola next to it and planted a large climbing rose. It worked. Make the most of it and grow plants that like the conditions. There are some lovely plants that grow in boggy areas. I wouldn't choose a willow by Mario Theodorou
