growing mushrooms
Hello. I just wondered if it was possible to encourage and grow wild mushrooms in the lawn or in a rough grass area I have. I have picked a lot in the fields just recently, and have actually had too many to cope with. Some that were going past by Grub2

GROWING APPLES
You can grow an apple plant from seeds but you may have to wait for a very, very long time to pick an apple- if at all. Look on it as a bit of fun -the kids get a kick out of it- but as for growing a proper fruiting apple tree from a pip -no by Lullabelle

Growing blueberries
I have several blueberry bushes growing in pots of acid soil.  I am considering growing them as follows - dig a suitably sized trench; line with either fabric weed control material (which is porous) or plastic sheeting pierced to allow drainage by babsagain

Growing hyacinths in water
Hi all, I'd like my gardening club (primary school children) to grow hyacinths to take home at Christmas. I ideally would like to grow them in water so the children can see the roots. My problem is what kind of clear (everyday) container could I use by Daintiness

quick growing perennials
I would like to grow some plants for a charity sale in the Autumn.  Could anyone suggest perennial seeds or even veg to sow now that would look good by the Autumn.  I can of course divide some of my plants but would really like more.  Many thanks by KJR

Honey Fungus: What To Grow?
We have an area that has honey fungus and, as we are overlooked, we want to grow an ornamental tree that grows to approximately 4 metres to afford us privacy. Any suggestions for small trees that fit the bill?  Are there other flowering plants by tottenhamwin
