Stag Beetle Grubs?
I have been spreading my home made compost around some of my shrubs and trees and came across these grubs:- large, white, with orange heads curled in a C about 3/4 inch across.  Are they stag beetle grubs?  What should I do with them?  In the past I by Trish3

Chafer grubs
I have an infestation of chafer grubs in my lawn. The blackbirds are having a feast, but my lawn is looking very patchy and dead. Any ideas on how to rid my garden of these pests? I have used lawn grub killer ...it's very effective. However. I think by Lynda Ellis

grubs problem
hi im a  first time gardener growing petunias but they are being eaten by what i can only guess is some kind of grub any help in keeping the plants alive and stopping the attacks would be appreciated, could provide pictures  if necessary thanks by Karen Mawhinney

Vine Weevil Grubs in the lawn
Hello, I have bought loads of fruit trees to plant in the top lawn and need to get them in very soon, so I started planting yesterday only to find Vine Weevil Grubs in the lawn as I was digging the holes.  I obviously cant dig the whole lawn up by SomersetJoy

Vine Weevil grubs and wild primrose
(and i can never seem to grow them!!!)  My question is.. 1) whats the best thing to use at this time of the year to kill the grubs.. and 2) Do primroses suffer as much when planted in the ground and not a pot? Thanks all! I have had problems with vine by Derby411

tiny grub nestling in frothy saliva 'nest'!
I've just found a few of these in my London garden - they are pale green/yellowish and about 2mm long. I think they are grubs or caterpillars...I only noticed them at all because they seem to exude a weird, frothy spit-like substance in which by Jess is in the Garden

How do you get rid of these disgusting things?
Hi!  Has anyone else been inundated with these vile grubs? I've had them two years running in my pots, loads of them, fat and up to 2 inches long. And I do mean LOTS of them: 24 found today in the space of 10 mins in one medium size pot! I've tried by Linda Price2

LAWN DAMAGE
I posted recently about bird damage to my lawn and  chafer grub was/is the culprit.  I treated the lawn with the recommended lawn grub killer and now two weeks on the birds are still active and the grubs still alive; am I being impatient by pinkpeony

Talkback: Growing hellebores from seed
I noticed lots of very tiny, thin, silvery worms in the compost of my hellebore and also some brown grubs about the size of a large maggot. Does anyone know what they are? I picked out as many as I could and put on the bird table but there must be a by marylyn bridges
