sowing seed .
Is it too late to sow flower seed this year ? I have loads and would like to get it all sown , so I can start again  Seeds of what? hardy annuals, scatter around now. Hardy biennials sow now and overwinter for flowers next year  perennials - depends by lucky3

When do you plant seeds taken from this years plants....

white and blue. Another idea for the blue colour is an easy to grow hardy annual,Phacelia tropical surf its common name is californian bluebell,also available at the same place,just sow where they are to flower April to May,bear in mind they grow by chrislobsterman

) but will definitely hold off on the sweet peas for now. I was going to see what the weather looked like in a couple of weeks. I don't do tender and not many half hardy but I'm still not going to rush I start sowing annuals in March. I have 3 little heated propagators by Lizanne Ford

Overwintering perennials
cut back the snapdragons to a few inches above the ground but not sure. Any help would be appreciated. ( The gerbera never flowered and in fact hardly grew at all although they are still living. ) Thanks. Snapdragons-antirrhinums -are an annual once by Mrs M

Orange flowers

Gaillardia death
the same problem and what am I doing wrong. Is there a solution to my woes? I love gaillardia , but grow it each year from seed - mine doesnt survive so I understood it to be an annual . This year If I get the heating sorted in my greenhouse I shall try by Woodgreen wonderboy

greenhouse but the biggest problem with the plastic greenhouses is that they have a tendency to get blown over in winter. Which is quite heartbreaking. Mine never proved to be completely frost free so it was ideal for small hardy perennials/ annuals by coleman
