Slugs
bitten off cleanly but was not eaten. i suppose the snail spat it out and shouted "yuk" that tastes awful. lol They do nibble pelargoniums, which are often called bedding geraniums. The hardy true perennial geraniums seem immune. I've never noticed any by Bev Pounsett-Krynauw

Shaded Border
some brighter summer colour along this fence.   I would like low growing stuff as it also borders a path.    I am quite fond of fuchsia, and wondered about the hardy dwarf shrubs.  Any advice and any ideas please would be welcome. Fuschia will do well by Novice23

HELP me please!!
plants are better value. Have a look at perennial wallflowers Erysimum 'Bowles's Mauve' or Lavenders, Hebes are good but a little boring. Hardy fuchsias. Daffodils are good value. I would also consider growing cosmos from seed. All hardy annuals are good by natalia85

Overwintering perennials
much about gerberas Snapdragons are perennials usually treated as annuals. You can get two years out of good plants by leaving them over winter (or cutting down by 1/3 if very tall) and cutting back to green growth in spring. The second year's plants by Mrs M
