what do I do with my raspberry.
I am new to growing fruit.I bought a malling promise last year it grew about five feet,and gave me quite a good harvest in July to September.A local gardener told me not to cut it back,to benefit the wildlife.I dont know what to do now,any advise? by sal3

Potatoes grown in a sack
I have harvested the ‘earlies’ do I start again by adding new compost and new tumbers or do I leave the original tumbers and compost in the sack and just take out the ‘earlies’ when harvesting lose in late June? Many thanks. Once you harvest first by Gmitch2000

Crocosmia
I've harvested the seeds from my Lucifer Crocosmia and would like some help on sowing them next year, ie timing, heat or not and will they come true to the parent plant? Thank you. They will take several years to get big enough to flower. They are a by Sarah Novice

beetroot so they could be the cause. YOU ARE VERY LATE HARVESTING Jo17, I don't think you are very late harvesting - I've harvested some of my first sowing but still have another sowing going strong. Some to eat fresh and some to pickle. Better check those by jo17

Time to bring in pumpkins ?
With the funny weather we have had I'm wondering what to do with the squash etc ,  How are others harvesting this year? Keep an eye on the forecast and bring them in to a cool, frost free place before the first frosts.  Make sure you cut at least a by lucky3

pruning gooseberries
i have a huge gooseberry bush which needs pruning. I cut back the side shoots last June by six inches and had a good harvest. However it is really much too big. Is it too late to prune now without losing next years crop?  Stuctural pruning is best by bovril

kirky allotments liverpool Grew Garlic this year for the first time as there is competition in my small garden with the flowers so grew it among my flowers - had wonderful harvest. Well pleased with the result. last year we grew garlic,couldn't stop by kaycurtis
