Split Garlic
and with no outer skin.  I only harvested today (waiting for a dry few days seemed pointless) and they taste ok.  We had an extrmely dry period during March and I did not water - could that be the reason.  The only down side seems to be that it is a pain harvesting by bobloes

Potatoes losing their leaves
Hi, My potato crop has suddenly lost all their leaves and I am just left wth a bare stalk and on some, rock hard, green cherry tomatoe looking fruit. Does anyone know what has happened and will the crop be OK to harvest in a few weeks time? I only by Jan19

I dont need to tell you what a wet year its been and I have been having great difficulty harvesting seeds for next year. However, about two weeks ago I cut some very wet stems from some Agastache and some Verbena Bonas { cant spell the rest of that by nigelcoad

Sprouting Brocoli.
brocoli is in my neighbours plot now and he'll be harvesting after the winter. Hello nutcutlet, I was'nt expecting it like supermarket but the heads would be lucky to have reached about between 1 to 2 inches is this normal by Gerry5

't be up until next spring. Harvest the seed just as they're starting to go hard and have darkened in colour, and protect the sown seeds from mice. And just remember that even the tiny ones take a fair number of years to flower. Thanks for the info.  I by Patsy2

on the seed package.  Any suggestions  -  type of fertilizer, watering (not necessary this summer?!) etc? Otherwise I guess I will just harvest the leaves and stir-fry them with onion and garlic over pasta..... Beetroot don't always develop at the same rate by Andre
