plants for a wild life friendly meadow
the garden might survive in grass. On my list of possibles are persicaria, echinops, assorted geraniums, and some of the more invasive asters. I shall probably try it anyway but wondered if any of you have tried this and have suggestions. I think you're right by nutcutlet

are large enough transfer to a larger pot and keep watering and feeding on a regular basis. Or plant in the garden when the frosts have passed. Do not disturb the roots when planting them in the garden as this may encourage plants to self seed. I grew by greeny

new seeds, bulbs and plants
/perenials for customers, did my own garden design last summer; gailardia/callendula/rudbeckia/coreopsis/cosmidium/dahlias/gazania/knophia/lupins a show of colours and shades blending together some of these plants had 4-5 different names. ive taken some pics on facebook by 80smaniac

strawberries, spring onions, garlic& tomatoes
planter best?? ive tried a terracotta planter before but it was disasterous, top too wet, soil washed out, bottom was bone dry and birds took the rest. tomatoes; pot or compost bags, i have 2 varieties on the go shirley and gardeners delight. spring onions by realnewbie87

Lemon Verbena

Bee friendly plants for hanging baskets
As a very amateur (and newish gardeners) we have been trying very hard to get most of the plants in our garden bee and insect friendly and hope to convert some grass to wildflower meadow this year.  However I have been guilty of using non by Bowdeeka

Talkback: Birds: thrushes and fieldfares

Advice on building a raised bed
Im new to gardening and have recently moved into a rented house with a big (and slightly overgrown) garden. I cant change the garden too much but I would like to grow my own veg so I thought I would put a raised bed at the bottom of the garden by Kris3

Can you name these two leaves
and I dont know what these two flourishing plants are. Do you know? is one a geranium or are they just weeds?            The 4th an 5th are the ones I think are geranium but they are in the rose bed surrounded by herbs... so I dont know   The one by Desire For Gardening
