Creeping thyme (Thymus serpyllum)

Square foot gardening

Mystery plant
wonder if it's the same. I bought it in a garden centre, but have lost the label. I'll post a photo tomorrow. I shouldn't think the usual garden centres are intentionally selling figwort, unless labelled as a wild plant/herb. Silverfairy, this is what by SilverFairy

and your best bet would be to write down the type you like and check with a reputable garden centre/nursery. Other than that, perhaps Berberis thunbergii Admiration there actually is a herb called the cat's whiskers - don't know where you'd get it tho by hedygergely

Talkback: Growing veg in containers
now contain garlic and a smaller tub has dwarf purple bobby beans.In another square bin is spinach and more potatoes in sacks. Wooden half barrel is herb garden and more herbs in smaller tubs. Strawberries in hanging baskets do well. I keep my 2 small by chutneyhunter

Pots , planters and compost
do not now where to get rid of the spent compost when I change it . My garden area does not have the capacity to dispose of it around my plants as I have no room left. I cannot put it in the  green bin as they do not take soil . is there anywhere by mo6

I want daisies to grow in the grass
We've lived in our house for 23 years and I've never once seen a daisy growing in the back garden.  I did try transplanting some from a friend's garden but they didn't take. Anybody got any ideas as to how I could do it?  Maybe the soil is just by Supernanauna

Plant without papers
