How do I get rid of earwigs?
Earwigs are destroying everything I plant at the moment (salad/brassicas/herbs/clematis). It's definitely earwigs as I've done a midnight raid with a torch & it's swarming with them. I've tried upturned flowerpots with straw in, but this barely by JD BATH

Frozen seeds?
I started a load of veg & herb seeds in pots, trays and guttering at the weekend (9th March) and placed them on a shelf under the window in my garage. Since then, temperatures have plummetted and some of the compost in some of the pots has partially by JossVam

One for the ladies...
Maybe not just the ladies..maybe the laddies too? Do you use any of your herbs or plants for personal uses? I dont mean smoke them   lol, I mean as in health benefits, beauty regimes or medicinal purposes?   I like to think that alot of my own by Sam Glendinning

Alternative lawn
I am in th process of creating two raised lawn areas in my garden but would like to use something other than traditional grass, has anyone any ideas / advice.  I would like a neat and tidy appearance and it will need to withstand traffic as the herb by Joanne Shackleton

Temp of greenhouse
to plant out eventually I'd start opening up in the day time I have herb seedlings and flower seedlings and some brocilli that I have grown from seed they are about 3 inches tall now. I have opened it up on the odd occassion that it has been sunny  as by flowergirl4

Weed?
up easily enough Willow herb?  Increases by seed and underground spreading roots. Thanks  for your relies, they have gone a little crazy in one border so perhaps I will pull some out and leave some to see what they turn in to! opse replies by Cat 2

Mini-orchards
I work at sea 8 months of a year and my back garden consists of grey stone slate chips and decking. I have troughs and tubs of veg and herbs along the back frence I would like to have a row of mini-fruit tress that grow no more than 2.5m high by rovarch

seeds that I have but do not want!
extended my Stock!  I now have hundreds of perfectly packed and sealed seeds for both flowers and food plants and herbs. If anyone is interested please contact me through this forum. Oh and the price i am charging per pack is around 50 pence to a pound by wild265

Umbellifer featured in March issue of GW Magazine
like chervil http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2012/sep/14/alys-fowler-chervil-herbs-gardening, but there are many umbellifers that look very similar.  Even ground elder looks very pretty when flowering in the right place by Kieran Masterton
