Hollyhock Rust
Hi All, My hollyhocks have been decimated by rust this year. I normally get a little bit but its just been stupid this year. The plants are half of what they normally are.Spraying has been totally useless as it was never dry for more then a day by Sparklepinksunflower

My first year also growing a hollyhock, again planted last year and did nothing, and I have had rust and scrapped the plant. May try again next year as I think they look so lovely. I planted hollyhocks last year, nothing happened! However by Bathcat

Help... I have some lovely Hollyhocks in the border which are growing really well, but the large leaves are being infested with rust on the underside.  As a result the leaves curl up and die.  This happens every year, the flower spike develops by sterelitza

Hi There, this is new to me so I am just looking for some advice about how to grow a hollyhock, is it the same as a foxgloves, somebody told me they are nicer and I got one down at the garden center at half price as they were dying out due by damien

Hollyhocks
Hi I have grown hollyhocks for the first time this year and had such a good show from them that I would like some advice on how I winter them?  They look so attractive in my cottage garden but I am wondering if I have to lift them over winter or cut by Willie Wilson

New Clematis
now need vine weevil and Systemic rust destroyers for my Clematis and Hollyhock.  I only have one of each and you have to buy so much of the stuff and it is only a 6 foot diameter raised bed and a pot with the Clematis. Rust on hollyhocks is almost by Jill Smith

dont know which way to plant them six inches long and straight all the way up help someone please If I recall correctly hollyhock roots are planted vertically with sharp ends down. Don't grow them now because of rust but was fond of them by Andy19
