i have just found the answer to a problem i have had for a good few years on my acer trees!!!gardeners world has answered my question the bugs are the HORSE CHESTNUT SCALE INSECT!!!Each year i just hose them off, is this an ok solution? i don by gail255963

There is a horse chestnut at my children's school gates in Jersey that is brown, with crisp leaves falling, when it should still be green, with fat conkers falling and being discovered with joy by the children. The tree has provided us with shade by Jayboy
