Insulating Greenhouses
Can anyone recommend an effective, but cheaper solution for greenhouse insulation? Bubble wrap.  Buy it in sheets off a roller in a good garden centre or DIY store.  If you have an aluminium frame, you can also buy the little clips that slot by Gardendesigner01

I can't hang my hanging baskets anymore.
Hello everyone In my area there has been some extensive work done on council properties. My home has recently had external insulation added and then a thin covering of render. Now, because hanging baskets are quite heavy, I do not want to put them by lognor8

Wheelbarrow handle grips.
can you wrap some plastic tape (like insulation tape) round the wheelbarrow handles, then push on the handle grips, so it's a really nice tight fit ? Should work. The inner tube might be a bit more grippy as it's soft rubber. just glue the buggers by Apgerald

DIY Cold frame
will be affected. Is K glass any good for using in a coldframe?   Thanks I don't foresee much of a problem-the light levels will be marginally lower the insulation will definitely be better-it will be heavier of course- and you may need to ventilate more-but other by Tessa777
