and it is starting to get leaves. On one recent gardeners world programme Monty Don was insulating his greenhouse with bubble wrap and he talked about a strong double sided tape can you tell me tha name of this and where to purchase it thank you just a word on daffs by kathryn.brock

Is Vermiculite dangerous
was identified.  The vermiculite from this mine was largely used for insulation so is still present in many buildings.   There doesn't seem to be any need to be concerned with the vermiculite that gardeners use but with any dusty product, it's never going to be a by kevin merriman

wrap around them in winter though. Maybe this insulates the pot. Sorry about your pots. Does the shape make a difference? If they are wide in the middle and narrow at the top I find the moisture in the soil freezes and expands sideways and cracks by Ann B-M

'square foot gardening' with a mix of one third each - compost, peat and Insulation Grade vermiculite (very thick pieces)plus fertiliser which is topped up each season. This has been working well for the last 5 years. Square foot gardening is great!! I by YewJay

Choosing a greenhouse
the temp.  I have it a little bit warmer when I have seeds in there, but also use electric propogators, which have helped enormously. I also insulate in the winter - bubble wrap does keep it extra cosy, so the running costs are kept as low as possible. Hope by MandyB
