Talkback: Growing spring bulbs
in a quiet spot and see if they'll grow at all. It all depends how they've been stored, whether the bulbs have dried out, or started to decay. If they appear sound then do give them the benefit of the doubt and plant them. And do post feedback later by Alice

June in Your Garden!

Talkback: Preparing gardens for spring
collection of bearded iris have survived and the spring bulbs are poking up. Also all my favourite pots are intact after the harsh cold. We had hardly any snow in Peterborough, so the extreme cold killed all my desert plants that i had cosseted away by Flowers

Garden Gallery
sourced one at the Eden Project, then moved to a shadeless garden in Kent so I adopted it. It's fairly happy up my back passage, unfortunately still in a pot but has put roots down into the leaf litter. Flowers just about over here in South Devon though by sotongeoff
