Pride before a fall!
Saturday morning inspections which I've nicked off this morning, My question is if I dry this out could I grow new plants from the seeds or is it really tricky. I've no greenhouse.... yet, but this is on the WILL get list this coming spring, garden by Moonlit Hare

the new gardeners world magazine and there is a project to make a nesting box from an old teapot, whoever thought of this doesnt know much about birds, even if a bird did lay eggs in it they would fall prey to all sorts of prededitors including woodpeckers by hereisabee

strawberries in a hanging basket & in pots too. Last year we were picking the strawberries every day throughout the summer. They were lovely.Coz my garden is small I try to make use of every available space. It is filled with pots. My husband & kids always take by chutneyhunter

buried snails
I keep finding snails half buried in the garden. At first I ignored them thinking that they were empty shells left by the birds, until I lifted one the other day and found a nice fat snail attached to a big mass of white eggs! It was obviously by diggingdoris

garlic first year. We found out the best time to plant is October because they love a frost. Last year we had much more success with lots of good size bulbs. Am I too late to sow garlic in March I buy garlic from a garden centre that is bred to be grown by petethecoach
