Windowsill planter

gardening magazines, or gardening books in them. They are usually quite cheap. I've got some old copies but you would really need to sit for ages and read through them Hi gwen2! I too have a boat load of back issues of not only Gardeners World, but Kitchen by gwen2

|Just learned a new trick
Been busy in the garden this morning, using my pressure washer. Before packing it away, I decided to lift some spuds for tomorrows dinner. As to be expected after the recent rain, they were pretty muddy, so I put them in the garden riddle & give by David K

water feature
any ideas on a natural water feature for my small garden id love a pond but realistically i just dont have the room sadly Ponds dont have to big, any water source will encourage wildlife, a simple preformed pond can be simple installed in ground by weejenny

Composting in excavation
I am living in Africa Tanzania. I am in process of making compost, and this is The way I have started please advice if it work, I have dug a in earth 1 meter by 1 meter and depth of 1 meter and started putting all garden waste ie lots of flowers by Mohan Mistry

Dhalias
Have decided to try and do things properly this year so have started two dhalias (Manhattan Island) off in a deep tray, not having a greenhouse they are on the windowsill in the kitchen.  Both are beginning to sprout, but how big do the new shoots by lavenderlass

Wilting lavender - help!
I bought a pot of flowering lavender from tescos 5 days ago. For 3 days I had it on the kitchen window sill thinking it might be too cold outside for it. It started wilting so as it was warmer outside I put it in the garden (still in its pot). It by amykf3@hotmail.com

Growing potatoes in bags - Advice.
