No Ladybirds
I've been hand weeding all day and I haven't seen one single ladybird - nor any larvae.  What's happened to them all?  I was amazed at the amount of ants there are out there.  Also the greenfly and blackfly population has expanded on last year by Robot

Is this a ladybird?
Hi, Can anybody advise on a beetle I've just noticed on my lavender? It's the same shape as a ladybird bit it's bronze. On each wing case it has three or four pale orange stripes from head to tail which you have to get up close to see. Squish by Angela at 27

Ive just found a harlequin ladybird climbing up the inside of my kitchen window. Have caught it and currently have it trapped under a glass on the kitchen table. As these critters are not native to these isles, should I terminate it or live by Tim Burr
