Talkback: Leaf scorch
would like to share it so that someone could identify it for her. Its very unusual and getting eaten alive by ladybirds. It has grown amongst her vegetables... Can someone please tell me if this is possible? Or could you post on my behalf? Hi Wendy by Stonehenge

White bugs infesting compost bin

wildlife in the city
. There were owls too, which would sometimes keep you awake and horses would sometimes be grazing in the field. We would collect grasshoppers, ladybirds and butterflies in the summer and have competitions to see who could collect the most before letting them go by flowering rose

Plants still in flower
in flower and my snowdrops and some crocus are in flower.  I just dread to think how many bugs will survive.  In the autumn we had lots more ladybirds than I had ever seen in the garden, but this week I have seen midges in flight, and a blue bottle, plus by ruth BAILEY

Talkback: What's nibbling my Lilies?
is interested. I have also had my lillies almost destroyed this year by lily beetles. I have never seen as many before. Global warming to blame? The beetles on my lillies are plain red. I have never seen them before, they just look like ladybirds but without by Sara Miller
