Ashfield - we chose this house largely because of the mature ash trees in the garden - from the looks of things we're right in line for the disease to affect us soon by donutsmrs

Can you help identify this plant?
Hi all. I have this plant growing in my garden, it grows as a large bush, but after removing one of them a year ago, it seems to come up all over the garden.  Can you help identify it? Thanks in advance     Hi, its, a Quince and it reproduces by mdw84

Weeping willow..well something similar.
In for a penny.. intresting site, some fablous photos.. Weeping willow type plants/trees...if only i knew the names - and yes I have been looking on youtube among others to spot the plants im after. Essentially, for the front garden ideally by garjobo

between a shed and a dark place
at the very back of my back garden i have a 5foot squared area with a shed on 1 side a brick wall on the opposite side and wooden fences on the other 2 sides with just a small path to the side,  there is a large silver birch right in the middle by mentalmellor

David. Some garden plants are as invasive as the worst weeds Thank for the heads up Dave...........I have purchased one of these lately in a 4 inch pot.I was wondering whether to plant it in the garden or a large pot.I think you have just made my mind up by David 23

dogwood in containers
Would cornus sanguinea be suitable for planting in a large container. I was hoping it would be ok if I kept it well pruned it should be ok. Any suggestions? Thanks i have some in pots and haven't had any problems ronan q wrote (see) Would cornus by ronan q

ok first load of top soil what to do with it.
before you start planing what goes where I would rake out the soil and remove any and all couch grass roots and be careful as any breakages ,you will have new plants growing from the smallest stem then take out any large stones and large sticks ,then by blackest

Hi, I moved house in March of this year and a beginner in gardening. I have lots of over grown shrubs and two large trees, I have five tropical trees, which three I pulled from the root during the summer. they were pretty dead and they are growing by grannybarb
