Uneven lawn and weeds

Leaves on lawn
?) the leaves which would mean walking on the seedlings? If you leave the leaves on the lawn they are liable to smother seedlings, as well as harming mature grass. Put something on the lawn before walking on it - stiff card or planks - and blow the leaves clear. by Potsy

Lawn condition
how can I help my lawn survive the onslaught of my four chickens by using a fertiliser on it that will be harmless to the chickens if they should eat any of it. Grass fertilizer will kill a rabbit if it eats the grass-don't think it does the same by John Wood 2

Lawn not so good
I sowed my own lawn 5 years ago with a mixture which didn't contain rye grass. It's grown okay but the problem is I am getting a lot of coarse grass becoming established and it, as well as the finer grass, is growing prostrate. Always believed by itsnotmyfault

Lawn Mulching
I have just bought a property with a large lawn area which is quite a chore to mow. With it being so large it is a nuisance to collect all the grass cuttings. I just wanted peoples opinions on leaving the cuttings on the lawn to mulch by Kenc3

Poa, meadow grass
You haven't said what the problem is. My lawn is covered in lime green grassy patches which have grass flowers sprouting from them. I have checked on google and the problem looks as if it is Poa or Meadow grass. I can't see any chemical treatments by Robin3
