Raising the Level of the New Lawn
Hi, Once again i would appreciate some advice on laying a new lawn.  We have cleared our lawn of rubble now that the builders have gone  my poor lawn is now in a very poor state.  We now want to lay a new lawn but firstly we would like to increase by pennymax

Evergreen Feed & Weed
On saturday i put some feed & weed on the lawn, it then rained a couple of hours after and most of yesterday afternoon. I have noticed large black patches forming where the main consentration of weeds are bit it seems to be turning the grass black by Doctor_63

Talkback: How to renovate your lawn
some for drainage when I lay my lawn...2 children, a dog and 2 hens=not much grass and a lot of wet mud! Can I renovate my lawn in the summer. I have an area to renovate and would have tried to fit to all the wiggly edges if I hadn't seen this clip by kaycurtis

Fairy Ring
I've moved into my house about 18 months ago and it has a mature fairy ring in the lawn, which is large & is spreading.  Its killing the grass as it goes and leaving a bare circle behind it.  Apart from digging up the area, is there anything else by Gary Langan

is anything to go by. Better to forget lawns all together and go for biodiversity. You will get beauty by the bucket-load, lots of wonderful food, and if you really like grass, can grow the splendid ornamental grasses that sway in the wind or small tufted by claire

HELP! Need advice on lawn change
We have a sall "lawn" (actually a lumpy bumpy muddy area with grass on it!) about 3m X 3m. Next year we'd like to quarter it, and have 2 quarters wildflower-meadowy, and the other 2 as clover lawn. I've asked people I know for advice, and I by Myk Pudlo-Umney

New Lawn has dead patches
. Are you sure you didnt leave something on your lawn recently?  I once laid a small cloche on the lawn during a hot summers afternoon....prob only for couple of hours...and it killed the grass. 2 square patches, are they whole squares of turf? by Heather Drew2
