I want daisies to grow in the grass
memories of my childhood. A lawn can't really be called a lawn if there are no daisies.I have a few patches of daisies, but they are only visible in places where the grass has not been cut for a while....   The heads are perhaps 4 inches above the ground by Supernanauna

weed supressing membrane
Does anybody know how long weed suppressing membrane has to be in position to kill and established lawn stone dead? I would imagine at least 6 months, 1 month has been suggested. I can't find written documentation on the test being actually carried by Jennifer Deegan

Get Rid of your Lawns
'gas-guzzling' than grass! Ditto re front gardens, I don't have one as front door of cottage goes straight on to pavement. My garden is too steep for a lawn, but I wouldn't have one even if it was flat. More space for flowers needed in my small garden by Palaisglide
