lawn problems
Hi, I got a new lawn this year and we laid it by turf. It was perfectly fine but i mowed it 2 months later and I think it over cut so there are many yellow patches in my lawn and  It also looks dry. Are there any feeds that I can use in August by gardenflower

Talkback: Planting bulbs in lawns
. Just remember that you can't use "Weed & Feed" type products on your lawn if you want naturalized bulbs. We made that mistake for 2 years before it dawned on us why the bulbs never did well...LOL! Oh Snake Head Fritillaries are my absolute favourite by Lu

At a loss with my lawn....
laying time. I would spread compost on the top too before laying the turf. And dwarf rye grass for the turf is very hardwearing. Weeds will grow but, as I have already said, they can be mown out or treated with lawn weedkiller when the lawn is 6 months by Pumphead

Help!!! My Grass won't grow!
in the spring - when the weather warms up start mowing regularly with the cutter blade at it's  highest setting so you don't scalp the lawn.  Give it a good stiff raking and some Weed & Feed type top dressing (according to the instructions on the pack) and stand by Mark O'Neill

Talkback: Controlling weeds
I too have an obelisk in the garden, and have planted it with sweet peas. Weeds have already popped up in the centre to mock me, well before the sps. With another tower (for climbing squash, made with branches and wire) I've left one side open so by Reluctant Gardener
