Overgrown back garden
need to do first. The grass has completely overgrown & has turned into a yellow/straw appearance. There is also quite a lot of weeds and moss underneath the grass. I've attached some photos of the lawn below & would really appreciate any advice to help by Martin JA

Mossy lawn
climbing up them. Now, 18 months later the lawn is looking much better simply by regular vigorous raking and spiking and regular mowing with the hover mower on a high setting.  The only fertiliser I've used is a single top dressing of  sea weed fertiliser by Les2

Help with seating area
, and perhaps a link to the seating you like? Make sure you only do it once by getting the preparation right. Prepare the area well by digging out any weeds and big stones then levelling the soil as flat as you can and firming it down.  Spread on a layer of weed by Debbie MacGruer

I want daisies to grow in the grass
wrong for daisies - it's just ordinary garden soil. Just a thought, I had some Bellis daisies in pots on the patio one year, I have had daisies in the lawn ever since. I do not use weed killer on the lawn either. Might see if I can find some Bellis by Supernanauna

by hand but this is causing brown patghes to appear. Any lawn weedkiller will not affect the surrounding turf, but you need to read the bottle carefully to make sure that it will treat your particular weed. You will need to treat it more than once for some by john63brown

Moss
My grass has been relaid twice because after the first year moss keeps growing in my lawn and taking over the grass.  Does anyone have any suggestions how to get rid of the moss?  Moss usually means damp and poor draining. Spring bok rake can remove by Typewriter
