Talkback: How to lift and store dahlias
I got 6 dahlias in pots is it ok to leave in pot & store in shed & also should i leave or cut off stems. Chris The danger with leaving them in the pot is that they will rot. What I would do is remove the dahlia from the pot, cut off the stem and dry by stoneyford

Lifting Lily bulbs
Am I able to lift my lillies and transplant them at this time of year (September)? Wait until the leaves die back completely, this is usually around November time. They need to photosynthesise to store energy in the bulb for next years growth by mdw84

Skyscraper Lillies
Mypot grown lillies were beautiful this year and I am unsure if I should lift and store them over winter and replant next spring.  I have searched various websites for information and they are contradicting.  Mrs JXP I grow some lilies in pots by JXP

Not quite sure what you are asking-but you can lift them in the autumn when they show signs of dying back-the leaves go brown -dry them off- store and replant in the spring. Is that what you wanted to know? Can I lift them now? We are about to put by Nadine 2
