Please ell me what to do with my summer bulbs!!!
are dahlias etc -too early for those- but they can be started off under cover. Ok here goes- Gladiolus- plant 10+cm/4-5ins deep between March/May. They should flower July-Oct. The corms then should be lifted in Oct & stored dry/frost free until the next Spring by PaperFlowers

onions? Annie - I used to lift all my dahlias but last year decided to cover them with a mulch of manure and this year they have produced a wonderful show. I will leave them in the ground this year too. I've had great success in my first year of growing by sandi

FEED UP WITH THIS WEATHER
lifting the pumpkin by the stalk as it can damage the plant. And let it "cure" when you pick it if you are going to store them for winter i.e dry it in the sun for a week -12 days, or in a greenhouse or inside if weather turns wet. Good luck! by shaun_lincoln

Talkback: Growing onions: seeds versus sets
really well and we had a really good crop. I've planted Autumn onion sets that we got from a discount store in Morecambe for 45p. They are doing very well. So you can still save money if you shop around, you don't have to always buy from expensive garden by LouatLarches
