Is it wild phlox?
the garden itself was nothing but knee-high weeds.  I stuck it in the big terracotta pot with the grass in the picture and it stood on it's own - the only non-weed in the garden and it served as motivation to make the surrounding mess a garden again by Robot

Lets do the Timewarp again
(geraniums, primroses and violets amongst them) and a large patio with raised square and rectangle beds. I just dont know how to put our stamp on it, marrying up our style, make it more contemporary and enhance what is already there. What plants could we add by Adele Buck

how to deal with the apple tree pests?
I growed several apple trees in my garden, but apple tree pests makes me upset...is there a way to deal with the apple tree pests? Many thanks if its aphids then a light soapy spray on the leaves or even rub them off will help, i found that the year by Amy0824

Talkback: How to store, freeze and dry your harvests
I would have thought that blanching soft fruit would make it go mushy and difficult to keep separate when freezing I never blanch soft fruit.  Blueberries, black and red currants just go in a plastic bag or tupperware and get frozen whole by edzell

netting brassicas
project Pleased to help ! Pam x I've used tennis balls to construct a bamboo framed fruit cage, quite hard to make holes in but very effective and relatively cheap, will be interesting to see how it holds up in the strong winds forecast over the next by chicken!
