bulbs throughout the seasons
Hello, I am making up my first meadow using Cornfield Annual seeds, on a totally new oval bed surrounded by plum slate, in a small urban garden. Since the annuals will be dying back around Autumn-ish, I'm guessing, I'd love to underplant the bed by Jess is in the Garden

Fritillaria meleagris how long can it survive under water
I know these fritillaries thrive in water meadows but the bulk of mine have been under water since December. Will they cope? I was wondering that today as I paddled where they are, and this is their first year as well by nutcutlet

Another plant ID
Saw this growing in a meadow in Scotland, it had a beautiful scent, anyone know what it is?   It's meadowsweet (filipendula ulmaria), which grows in damp meadows and on rural roadsides. I agree, a lovely scent. Oh, I didn't think it was Meadowsweet by Gracie5

where to put snakes head fritillary
thanks.   water meadows are where they live in the wild, so the nearest you can get to that. But if you've only got 25 seeds I'd sow them in a pot so youcan keep an eye on them. by gardener bee
