DOG WOODS
are perfect for medium height herbaceous plant supports. They bend easily and ultimately very discreet and no sharp points. Been doing this for few years now I usually leave mine a bit later as we get harder winters than most of the UK and some nasty late by MAGGIE BRAY

sycamore seeds
's question other than to watch out for the seeds in summer when weeding, etc, because they seem to "come down" well before autumn especially after a windy day/night. But this may not be practical if you have a medium/large garden. I hate the sycamore and ash by justin stefanyszyn

Cats!!!
When setting up the scarer you have to adjust it to the size of the animal you want to scare - small, medium or large, so, with it set on medium, usual garden birds do not activate it. oh..that is good to hear.. thou the seagull keeps the 2 buggers off by Bee friendly
