Wildlife Ponds
right to the top edge so any creatures that fall in can climb back out - I've seen mice and even a hedgehog drowned in such containers (even a washing up basin someone had used once). Please can anyone help.  We put a pond in our medium sized garden last by MrsSpratt

Is there anything I can't compost?
the medium too acid for the worms. I put banana skins in, but some advise against this as they might attract rodents. Yes you can add manure - I don't think anyone would advise against that! Mixing the compost, in my understanding, improves aeration by Mummy Muddy Paws

Petrol lawn mower
Can anyone recommend a particular petrol lawn mower for a medium sized garden lawn? Does it make any difference whether it has a plastic or metal deck? Do makes vary much as there's a huge price range? Thanks. I'm no expert .. Totally depends by wildpatch

Any advice on hand-push lawnmowers?
hand push mower, I too had the search for the a decent one. I managed to find one called 'Handy'. I actually got mine from The Garden Centre Group, for just under £60, but you can get them for an extra tenner, through Amazon (link) http://www.amazon by Cetti
