Verbena and Russian Sage
I am new to gardening and planted a new large mixed perennial border recently. I timed it badly just before the hard frost we had in late March (lesson learnt for next year). However, all the plants now seem to be starting to push up shoots by Dan 2

Re potting Box Balls?
scraping off the top inch of soil and refilling with compost mixed with slow release fertiliser.  When you can no longer get the top inch off because it is so full of roots you do exactly what you have just done. I assume they are in the grey pots by LeadFarmer
