Moles
A bit more info would be useful   Hi thanks for replying. I am new to this, what sort of info do you need? Assuming you want to rid your garden of moles, the only foolproof way is to hire a professional mole catcher but you'll need to do this on a by Sandra Davies

Talkback: Moles
Hi thereI do enjoy most of what gardeners world stands for but I am appalled at the response to mole hills above. Please tell me why it is acceptable to gas or trap a mole purely for the reason that it is digging a few holes in the lawn? Why by chloet

Talkback: Moles revisited
Bring in a Dachsund. The only time I've seen a mole was when I was a kid, and our Dachsund had caught one and was playing with it (a warm and moving squeaky toy). He got a little too enthusiastic and ended the fun by biting its head off. Here by lynar

Talkback: Moles and molehills

Mice?
Help please we have what we think are mice digging tunnels in our newly laid lawn and raised beds.  The holes are too small for moles.  I dont want to kill them just make them pack their bags and go away! Are you sure they are mice?  I have to admit by Primo

tunnels in my borders
I'm at a loss to know what is tunneling in my borders. I've had moles in previous gardens and ruled them out here because with over 15 tunnels in my very large border, there is no surface soil at all. They seem to be on each side of a plant by candoit

What animal could have made this hole?
. Nothing is damaged nor are there any droppings. The hole diameter is approx. 20 cm diameter. Thanks for any help. We have lots of moles in our garden but the hole looks too big to be a mole. Sounds/ looks more like a rabbit maybe? It looks like maybe a by Anny G
