in the back garden where I avoid using sprays, etc. and allow it to be more overgrown because they like it that way, and most other people can't see it! Also have probs. with moss in my front lawn and aren't sucessful in getting rid. I have a tortoise, over by lindsayf12

moss on the lawn
i have a problem with a very mossy lawn, what is the best way to deal with this? I too have a very mossy lawn which has been neglected for some years (we moved here last autumn) - I do not want to use chemicals to kill the moss as we have resident by Tigger Tom

HOW TO GET RID OF MOSS,
WHAT WOULD I USE TO KILL IT.NOT WANTING TO HARM MONKEY PUZZLE TREE  I would rake it out with a springbox rake and fork the soil too to allow air and water to penetrate.. Add some horticultural sand over the area and brush in, The moss dislikes by flipflip

die back of moss on stones
hello,I have a problem with moss on a stone wall,the moss has started to be covered in a jelly like substance that is killing it.Can anybody help identify the problem and offer a solutionto stop it from spreading? Joy.       It is a function by Joy Skiddy

how to cultivate moss where there is grass
I would like to cultivate moss instead of grass in lawn and promote wildflowers. should i feed moss. Ideas pls. If you want to grow moss and wildflowers you are going to have to reverse what most gardeners want and that is create poor soil-it has by C15.52

pin cushion moss
Hi all! I've been watching Chelsea on the TV over the last couple of weeks, and have fallen in love with the pin cushion moss in the Japanese garden. I would completely love to have some in my garden but cannot find any suppliers of it! Any one got by GemmaB4

Moss - Do I dig it in?
As with all other gardeners I have always had to deal with moss.  Possibly more than others because about 60% of my garden does not see any sunlight for about 6 months of the year.  I have chosen to lift it off the stone, brickwork or even by bobloes
