Algae on my seedlings
in the daytime, and at night if it's not cold. Thank You! A good tip to reduce algae /liverworts/ moss is to sow the seed in compost as usual but cover them with fine vermiculite rather than compost. Algae live off the nutrients in the compost - vermiculite by The Slap-Dash Gardener

plum trees - problems
ones.  Hopefully you have small buds visible?  What variety is it? The green is probably moss or lichen, shows you have little air pollution. No sign of buds on ours either. Patience  Every day this week I've gone out to my new pear tree and gooseberry by Ina Clarke

Stony and hard ground
I would love to grow a few vegetables and fruit but the ground is hard, stony and full of grass, weeds and moss. Apparently it probably has never seen a spade in it's live and neighbour reckons I'll end up with a sore back if I try and dig it over by Chickenmama

damaged lawn - female dog
first thing every morning and the result is a brown patch 3-6 inches (moss and all dead). Getting the hose out is not practical  as she is very quick and its not easy to see where , interestingly the outcome for the smaller patches is rich green grass by Merlin P
