damage from Plum Moth. I'd recommend haning pheromone moth traps in your trees early next year to catch the male moths. It's too late now .... the damage is done. I use plum moth traps as well. A few early plums are usually affected  with little pink by galest

Viburnam beetle
my spending a small fortune on sprays (mostly Provado Ultimate bug killer), the general appearence of the plant is moth eaten and the smell as I go in and out of the front door is atrocious. Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. by violon340

i was weeding down my allotment today and i saw this was attacking every moth and butterfly which landed on this globe poppy or thistle are they natural enemys wasp was attacking the moths spelling mistake Very interested to read about hummingbird by ssbattison

fruit trees
ive planted a apple/a pear/a plum/ a cherry ive read about a fruit moth and some thing called sticky tape i think it was where do i get it from where do iput it and when ????? plus do i spray or any other prevention measures i should do and when by glassback

strange fruit
, and the bigger ones almost have a ‘seam’. I’d almost think they were snail eggs but I thought they would be below ground. Any ideas?   Looks like the sap one gets when a Plum moth larva has entered/exited the fruit. by jimineyc

you to do the sme on moths?ruth My wife caually announced there are some strange larvae on your cob nut tree. They have their feet all at one end! In horror for some reason I thought of colorado beetle from her spotty description. Anyway relieved by Bobbington

holes in greenhouse plants
first started growing plants around april, id noticed this, moths can be a pain, also noticed a small black flea type fly, so started using vermiculite/perlite/ to mix in and perlite to put around the plant, and changed my fertilizer.im hoping by Daphne Luker

pesticides
used bromophos when sowings carrot seed and the rest. ...think it was the done thing. Scary! nematodes, fleece over carrots and for the pea moth and companion planting are better options I think by Harry Sinclair

bee flies
Has anyone else had alot of Bee Flies in their garden? They look like bees, they hover alot and they have a long probosis. It took me a little while to find out what they were. Some people have said they are hummingbird hawk moths by LM
