Clearing a large area of Ground Elder
the job, though ground elder is quite difficult to eradicate. I'm interested to see that you're hoping to turn it into a wild area... ground elder and nettles are pretty wild already. Nettles in particular are fantastic for ladybirds, butterflies and moths by Rose7

Lavender ?
. Is it better than augustifolia?. I like the sound of the moth too!, thanks. Both Hidcote and Munstead are great for bees, and pretty tough for a sun-loving plant.  Lavandula angustifolia is the 'true' lavendar, and both Hidcote and Munstead are hybrids of this by lucky*

CATS
Amazon work a treat My mother in law uses moth balls. She just scatters a few around the area and the cats really hate the smell and find a new toilet! They do need replacing regularly though especially in very rainy weather. Another remedy is to buy a by belinda
