Can you tell me where to get a bird box camera kit from please. I have just -11th. Jan.-fitted a camera to one of my bird boxes and I am delighted to see that a blue tit is nesting in the box every night.I hadn't realised that I would see a bird by buddy

Spring Watch
one, which doesn't require any cables, seems to be about £150.It's obviously too late to set up a nest box camera, for this season, so I didn't actually buy anything this morning. I wonder if there will be anything on offer at Gardeners World Live next by Hollie- Hock

I have a hedgehog house and nesting box and both are being used,I have a single blue tit that roosts in the nest box over night and the hedgehog has been using his house everynight,he hasnt gone into hibernation yet,but will as soon as it gets a bit by i grown my own

think of the blackbirds Monty !
nesting in thick ivy near my bird feeders and the male is working overtime chasing away anything that flies! Having said that the young have left but he returns for suet fruity sprinkles. The blue tits are about to leave the boxes (I wish it would warm up by Terri Quincey

Identification GuideThey do look like Tree bumblebee, Bombus hypnorum.That guide says that they often nest in bird boxes. That figures. @gary.. great pictures.. and thanks karen for the indentification.. i have noticed some of these in my garden.. the white tail by gardeningfantic

years I havent been able to put up bird boxes due to a cat who was a bit of a hunter. I now only have an old cat with no teeth (and who is unable to jump) so I may look into bird boxes this year. We put up a nest box early in 2010, but had no takers by oldchippy

im very pleased that i have 2 families of blue-tits nesting in 2 nest boxes,1 at the back of my house and 1 at the side of my house.still only got 2 newts though...but many frogs still no spawn oh well maybe next year,although i would rather have by sarahs pond life

My first Hedgehog inhabitant
under the hog-house and getting very excited so I investigated and gently lifted the lid.  The box was full of leaves so obviously there was a nest, but I didn't disturb and replaced the lid, and made the area dog proof!  Since then I have put out semi by Lesley, Cardiff
