Can any one tell me what to do with an Azales that was flowering at Christmas
flooded. If you're bringing it back in for the winter, fertilise it fortnightly in the autumn with a high phosphorous, low nitrogen fertiliser to encourage flowering. Re-pot regularly with ericaceous compost. Good luck, I hope it keeps rewarding your care by Gil

CUTTING BACK CLIMBERS
re-attach them. Where you have to prune, make clean cuts just above leaf nodes to encourage new growth and reduce die back.   Give everything a feed of tomato food which is low in nitrogen but high in potassium which will encourage new flowers by lindapalmara

Blind raspberries
are fine Did they flower but not set fruit or just not flower? They never flowered.  Big and heathy but barren! In my experience if a plant that should flower but doesn't. and has nice healthy leaves it is a sign of a too high nitrogen feed -have you fed by pitchroy

pear tree problem
://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/Profile.aspx?pid=90 The other thing is to make sure you feed it with a feed suitable for fruit trees.  General feeds will have too much Nitrogen and promote leafy growth at the expense of fruiting wood. by mickeyfish

, whilst it is doing so it takes the nitrogen out o the soil. Thank you. Will it be ok in amongst my bedding plants, or should i just put it in the garden waste? It is used as a weed suppressant but the birds will flick it everywhere- am not that keen by Glockers

Potassium based feed, a feed with too much Nitrogen will produce lots of leaves but will not encourage flowering. Hope this helps, the flowers are so beautiful. by Claire8

Fertilising plum trees
the same as potato fertilizer (which is usually much cheaper!)  In general you should look for ones with high K (Potash) with N (Nitrogen) and P (Phosphorous) being lower and about the same as each other, in the NPK ratio on the box. Something with N-P-K of by sam1987

Moss overtaking sedum roof...help!
