Easy Tips
high nitrogen needs, while flowering plants, K2O is needed. Slow release fertilizers can be mixed with the compost. However, certain plants like cacti and orchids need special fertilizer. Feed plants during their most active growth period. 3. Lighting by moratta

Ants
require nitrogen, but animals and plants generally can't extract nitrogen from the air. In tropical jungles, and on grasslands, ant colonies nurture fungi which perform this essential process. Other animals and plants can then make use of that nitrogen. I by Madeleine51

Help with chilli plant growing
as they can get. Get the plant outside if you can, even inside a small greenhouse with some ventilation. 4. Like toms, chillies benefit from a fertiliser that's low in N (nitrogen), higher in P (phosphorous), and even higher in K (potassium). Too much nitrogen by solution

Talkback: Clover
. It is useful food for pollinators and a nitrogen fixing plant. The leaves, stems, flowers, roots and seeds can all be eaten raw. Mmm. More bad advice. The info here should be rewritten to take into account that clover is incredibly important for bees. Some kind by john63brown

When to improve soil?
going and (b) because you are standing on it you are driving the air out of it which is the opposite of what you want to achieve. I'm going to follow up by digging some well rotted farmyard manure in to replace the nitrogen I expect the woody compost by cazzieb

Gigantic courgette leaves
have really large greenery but nothing else. Have you been feeding with a nitrogen-rich fertiliser? It will promote leaf growth at the expense of nearly everything else. Carrots shouldn't be fertilised at all. Best to advoid too much feed, keep by lucy33
