.It is not possible therefore to correct Manganese deficiency with Magnesium Sulphate or Epsom Salts. Epsom salts provide magnesium not manganese (two entirely different elements) by veggieboy

ROSE YELLOW SPOT
Last year my rose bushes developed yellow spots instead of blackspot. Any ideas anyone Here is a site with some photos of rose diseases. Or could it be a nutrient deficiency? Are they well fed? http://www.huntingtonbotanical.org/Rose/resources/springinthegarden.htm by Alan Pearson

Problems with a laurel hedge
't looking as healthy - they have lots of leafs with brown tinges on the ends and holes that look like some sort of slug damage...??? Does anyone know what is wrong with them?  Is this perhaps a result of too much water/too little water or perhaps deficient by mrsprit

what feed?
Hi, I was just reading an article in the RHS mag that said magnesium deficiency causing yellowing leaves etc, can be caused by over use of nitrogen feeds such as tomato feed as potassium competes with magnesium for uptake by plants. I use as much by sthlndngrower

Seed pods on New Zealand Flax
'm surprised that seed formation would cause the leaves to yellow. I'd have thought that was some nutrient deficiency. I believe that they are greedy feeders (although I haven't actually fed mine). by sterelitza

Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides)
on good growth last year (I think? - was only 1 foot high when bought) but since September leaves have had these yellow markings.  Thinking it was nutrient prob. in last week's warm weather  I  forked in fish, blood and bone and watered well.  Perhaps by yarrow2

What is going on with my Clematis?
with the feed. I have also heard that yellowing of leaves can be caused by a mineral deficiency that can be treated with epsom salts. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Epsom salts contain magnesium which is good for terating chlorosis, or yellowing by Joolz13
