Veg to sow now
The 'what to do now' section of the site says we can now sow, amongst others, spinach, swiss chard, beetroot and spring onions. I have some seeds for these, but all the packs say to sow from March to July or August. Can anyone explain? Is this just by Kaitlin De Luca

What veg and salad can I grow completely indoors?
I must start immediately.  unless you hyave somewhere theyw ill get light directly above and around, not just from one sied like on a windowsill, that can be rather difficult! A lot of leaf salads -lettuce,radishes,spring onions-you could try by Bob Flowerjuice

about plants
for a while until the weather improves, im in the midlands of ireland and its cold and frosty at night, but i have spring onion seedings in the ground already and they are getting on fine..maybe plant out half and reserve half for a few weeks just by dan

netting
hello, Can anyone tell me when i can take the netting off my raised beds, the lettice is starting to hit the top of it but the peas and onions are only still small, all seeds on all other veg are through so would it be ok to remove it compleatly by tommysmith

tin as well! Gotta love a 3 year olds choices! Might have jam roly poly for pudding. Fish, potatoes, cabbage, probably stir fried with onion and garlic (OH speciality). fromage frais and fruit pot for afters. Forgot to make jelly by Leggi

Raised beds depth
on. We have managed to grow a number of crops with some success including salad veg, beetroot, onions, some varieties of carrot, sweet corn and parsnips. On our recently acquired allotment, just down the road, we are having less sucess by movingpictureTV.com

Too cold to even contemplate seeds! Monty's video on planting courgettes is all well and good but Lancashire is still in deepest winter - roll on some sunshine. Can anyone help - I have just planted onion seeds in a heated propogater and can find by DABBLER
