my miny rose is flowering lovely and my friend has a lovely dark red and a climing white un named in full flower they look lovely We have a banksiae rose which we planted 3 years ago to climb over an arch way. It has grown very well but we can by deborah copping

Echinaceas
brilliant orange and about to flower any day now, it was left in the ground last year. Hot Papya is a double red, strong and long flowering and is now in its second year. This one was potted up in greenhouse for winter. Want to try more though by christopher2

Planting between grasses
summer and is usually a deep orange/red in colour.   It can be planted now as small container plants found in the perennial section and they will flower freely in the first year and perennial thereafter.   I love these plants.  Have a look and see what by Yvonne Lloyd

Apple Tree does not bear fruit
I have a Cox's Orange Pippen tree which is five years old, it blossoms beautifully and never gives us an apple. I have planted it next to our boundary fence which is next to my neighbours apple trees, one cooking apple and one eating apple ( I do by Twinkle3

Potted Lilly Companions Please
lilies. I thought it would be interesting to grow a blue-flowering climber (Ipomoea) up a tall orange lily.I found 3 problems: Lilies have a short flowering period, so it's difficult to synchronise flowering times. Also lilies also like a rich compost by Adam Young

Wedding flowers for September

Helllo. Would love to know what these 2 plants are. The first the orange one, I'm guessing it's a weed but I like it,also smells good. Does it have any benefits for wild life?  The 2nd, I thought it was some sort of holly hock but now I'm not sure by Hollie- Hock

Things that thrive in large pots
at this time is berberis Darwini.....orange flowers on tight evergreen foliage. Hollies too. Easy and good looking. Golden king has yellow and green foliage, red berries and a natural conical shape by shazza3

flowers. Bunny, I prune now varieties like Gold flame, Anthony waterer etc......the small shrubby ones....right down to the ground now. Actually mine are always done in autumn. Then again after flowering. However, on the yellow/orange foliage ones I do by Bunny..

Need a Plant...
but they are very easy to pull up if they are in the wrong place - personally I quite like to see them everywhere in the spring when there's not much else about. Are yours flowering yet Caz, no sign of mine yet. Lots of green no flowers. One or two just starting by Ryan Lloyd
