Talkback: Pyramidal orchids
At Tyntesfield (a National Trust Property) there are Lady's Tresses orchids in the lawn which they made from there own turf. Orchids are amazing in their ability to find a suitable home and stick to it-no climbing the property ladder for them. by happymarion

wild orchid
Hi I have just found a wild orchid growing in amongst my lilies in a pot, im pretty sure it's either the northern or southern marsh lily. I have no idea how it got there, I did plant a bag of mixed lilies from one of the pound shops ? that's where by Kim Baker

mystery orchid?
I have something in my garden [i hate to call it a weed]. it is more than 2m tall,has 2in thick, hollow stems. the flowers are like small pink orchids which bloom from may till september, and grows in a wild part of the garden in semi shade on top by Andrew Earl2

I've managed to keep my orchid alive for more than a year! I'm so very pleased.All the flowers fell off but there are now two new branches(?) with buds on them. How exciting! New flowers just about to bloom. Yippee! Excellent video! Good article by donnabbc

Looking after an orchid
Can you help please? I have a beautiful phalaneopsis orchid which has been happily flowering on a window sill for four years - it's on it's third lot of flowers. The leaves have begun to die back from the tips, going brown and shriveled by Lisa 6

My lovely new sleeved orchid...
hanging over the top? Can I squeeze them (ever so gently!) into the larger pot? My son gave me an orchid in a transparent plastic pot and he bought a decorative pot to go with it. You can put gravel in the bigger pot which can be kept damp. The roots don by Berkley

New pictures of orchids and nepenthes
hello gardener, maybe somebody like to have a look at my new pictures in my album. Some nepenthes growing in my area, but not native,they came from human transporting many years ago. The orchids are all native wild species, not so nice like by ThaiGer
