Talkback: Growing garlic
will they do well in a large container over winter outside? I ordered my garlic a few weeks ago and still waiting for them to arrive. They are solvent whites. and it is also my first time in planting garlic. I plan to put them in the garden would by wendy

rabbit proof plants
can anyone advise me what plants rabbits do not eat ? As regards edibles-virtually nothing that has a green leaf-in fact I doubt there is little in the garden that they wont touch Sorry-not much help I read that they don't eat hellebores by Heide Lenzen-Cox

for plug plants would be good to hear other gardener's views on them. Hiya Andy.There have been good and bad reports on parkers and most other suppliers too. My experience is bulbs are good but perennials no. Vedun it will be interesting how these hardy by Andy19

daffodills
My daffodills are coming up all leave, no buds What shall I do Dig up and throw away feed Plant elsewhere There are esveral reasons why Daffs come up 'Blind' If they have been planted to deep. The foliage was cut back to soon, therefore not allowing by dg43

Minimum planter size for black bamboo

It's made my day......
Just ordered agastache blue boa.  Coming on Tuesday.  It's a plant I wanted for past 12 months so well pleased. It is available as small plugs but I'm impatient for show this year.  Anyone else hankering after a special plant? It looks really pretty by Verdun

New plants but panicking over predicted snow/frost this week!

wintered there wouldn't be room for 24 begonias. I'd be inclined to purchase one or two good sized plants.   Whilst I can understand that there are some doubts about mail order plants. I have recently recieved 90 plants from T&M and every one was packaged by joyce mannell
