tree lillies
these be? can anyone help Spiders eat insects as a rule and may be preying on whatever is eating your buds so be careful what you squash It could well be lily beetles, or their larvae, causing the damage. Spiders don't eat plants, so they're not too blame by sandra richards

Crocosmia
I've just ordered some mixed crocosmia bulbs, but I've done that several times before and nothing came up.  They will be delivered by the end of April. Would it be feasible to plant them in pots just so that I can make sure to water them and nurse by Supernanauna

Bare root geraniums
I ordered some geraniums and they came today.  They were bought from Morgan and Thompson but when they came they were bare root plants (I thought they would be plug plants) and the paperwork that came with them did not say whether to put them by lavenderlass

Garden of rented property - design advice
but the main garden is still just an expanse of lawn with little of interest.  I am planning on increasing the width of the borders around the garden where the hedges are planted in order to be able to plant some flowers, etc, but don't want to dig up anywhere by nicky99

WIND AHHHH
veg plot and websites are saying up to mid-April is still good to plant them beacuse of the cold weather. What you need to do is to filter the air rather than try to block it.  If you put up something solid you'll cause eddies and currents that do by sally brighten

Where to plant a Fig?
Sorry about that glitch; I have a fig in a pot, and want to plant it out. My detached house, in Sussex 3 miles from the coast,  faces east-west, and is exposed to the west wind. There is some room to plant on the south facing wall, but it is shaded by elderberry

Non flowering : Lilac - In a pot
obviously not a happy plant, any advice please? Hi welsh dragon 45, there are couple of possibilities. First, Lilacs need a sunny position in order to flower well. Second, it could be getting too much nutrients which results in a lot of leafy growth by Chris 7
