Unheated/uninsulated greenhouse
are on offer 3 for 2 etc. That way you can insulate/cover your plants that you want to overwinter by creating a sort of small poly tunnel inside your greenhouse without the 'faff' of trying to insulate the whole. I've used some of mine for several yrs on top by Tinker Christmas Bell

Talkback: First butterflies of the year
ago, and wondered how the poor thing managed to survive. Its wings were so ragged, with chunks missing, and the colours dull and dusty. What is their lifespan? Am I right in thinking they overwinter in sheds & suchlike? If so, how often can they do so by C Pattinson

site says that some varieties of blue and brown butterflies overwinter as chrysalids - it'll emerge when the weather warms up - can you leave a door or window open so it can find it's way out easily - it'll need a source of nectar or sugar syrup - info by Alan4711

over wintering osteospurmum.
last year. I brought them into the unheated greenhouse and occasionally watered them when really dry. I also covered them with fleece in the evening when frosts were expected. You could also try take some cuttings to overwinter just like the pelagoniums by cotty1000

Propagation - help!!!
courgette seed to try too. Beans and carrots, but will sow carrots direct. Just got such joy last year from seeing my plants grow on. I just hope they all overwintered ok. But will still have fun growing and giving!! I have heard that my marigolds may by Greenbucket
